In recent years, media researchers have observed that digitalization and convergence have radically transformed traditional relationships among journalists, media owners, and industry professionals. These changes are also reflected in the transformation of roles within journalism. This article analyzes the new journalistic roles emerging from convergence and assesses their impact on the content produced by convergent media.
