In this article, the author examines the significance of Alisher Navoi's "Mukhokamat ul-lugatayn" as a historical and scholarly work that demonstrates the richness and expressiveness of the Old Uzbek language and serves as a primary source for observing lexical, morphological, and stylistic changes in the modern Uzbek literary language through the Old Uzbek language. The author also presents her conclusions.
