The Arabic language is considered one of the most expressive and emotionally rich languages. Emotionality in Arabic is particularly important for the reader, since words often carry a significant amount of emotional content—sometimes embedded in the word itself, sometimes revealed through context. Arabic is valued as a language that unites eloquence, expressiveness, clarity, richness, rationality, scientific character, flexibility, and emotionality. This article highlights the main problems in translation between Arabic and Uzbek; these two languages not only stem from different historical roots but also represent distinct cultures. The study provides translators and readers with an example of how to approach emotionality in Arabic by examining its main sources and revealing its essence. The purpose of this paper is to enrich translation studies with new examples of emotive language and to identify potential problem areas in translating emotive expressions between Arabic and Uzbek. In this regard, the study is significant: it seeks to answer questions such as to what extent emotionality poses difficulties in translation from Arabic into Uzbek and whether the meaning and musicality of poetry can be fully rendered.
