The continuous or prolonged nature inherent in appositive elements within the structure of an appositive construction plays an important role in their classification into structural groups. This article is devoted to this topic and examines the extended form of appositive elements, that is, elements that are repeated within appositive constructions consisting of one or more paragraphs. Attention is given to examples from a number of literary works.
