This article discusses how creating a foundation for a new era through educational reforms, at the current stage of our country's development, necessitates defining the priority directions for the advancement of pedagogy. Furthermore, the adaptation of curricula and textbooks to international standards strengthens the need to foster reading skills and literacy in the development of cognitive activity.
