This scientific article analyzes international and bilateral agreements of the Republic of Uzbekistan as the most important sources of legal regulation in combating human trafficking. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to improve mechanisms of international cooperation in the context of the transnational nature of this crime. The article examines the impact of international instruments, including the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime and the Palermo Protocol, on the development of the national legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The research is based on the methods of analysis, synthesis, comparative legal research, and generalization of scientific findings. The results of the study demonstrate the significant role of international and bilateral agreements in strengthening legal mechanisms for preventing human trafficking, protecting victims, and developing international cooperation in this field.
