This article analyzes the concept and significance of the institution of private prosecution in criminal proceedings. It emphasizes the effectiveness of the reforms being implemented in the Republic of Uzbekistan, which are aimed at the consistent liberalization of the judicial and legal system. In addition, the article discusses issues related to the formation of the state’s strategic policy in relevant areas of public interest, along with the protection of individual rights and freedoms.
