This work covers the linguodidactic foundations of the effective use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the process of forming and developing students’ writing competence. The study analyzes how AI-based platforms - in particular, tools such as Chat - GPT - works in writing exercises, and the possibilities of using them in the educational process.
