This article examines the concept, content, and essence of the use of special knowledge, as well as the distinctive features of the special knowledge possessed by specialists and experts. It also provides a scientific analysis of scholars’ theoretical views on the concept of special knowledge, its role and functions in the investigation of crimes, the relevance, aims, and objectives of the research conducted by the author, and certain theoretical and practical problems in the field of special knowledge.
