This article analyzes legal issues related to determining the priority of creditors in insolvency proceedings. In insolvency proceedings, determining the amount of creditors’ claims and their priority plays a central role. The article covers theories related to the ranking of creditors and the principles governing this process. In particular, it analyzes legal problems arising in the determination of creditors’ claims, their causes, and ways to eliminate them. Based on the results of the study, new approaches to determining the priority of creditors in insolvency proceedings are proposed. It is emphasized that correctly determining the priority of creditors in insolvency proceedings is of great importance for ensuring the interests of creditors. The article is of theoretical and practical importance for lawyers, court officials, court-appointed administrators, and researchers in this field.
