Annotatsiya

This article examines the structural and semantic features of behavior-expressing verbs in English and Uzbek from a comparative perspective. The study focuses on the morphological structure, lexical-semantic classification, and functional usage of these verbs in discourse. It also identifies similarities and differences between the two languages based on linguistic criteria. The findings reveal that behavior-related verbs in English are often expressed through analytical means, whereas in Uzbek they are more frequently realized through affixation and context-dependent meanings. The results of the research can contribute to translation studies, contrastive linguistics, and language teaching methodology.
