In this article, the importance of gender studies, "gender" concept in linguistics, socio-cultural aspects of gender and their impact on language and communication, differences in behavioral, emotional, meaningful and communicative aspects are considered. The theoretical foundations of the analysis of specific manifestations of gender-related temperament and character traits are also examined.
