Annotatsiya

This paper is devoted to the study of historical and contemporary aspects of written communication between Uzbekistan and Russia. Special attention is paid to the influence of the Russian language on Uzbek writing, as well as to the analysis of cultural peculiarities that are reflected in the stylistics and content of texts. The author considers such aspects as: formation of bilingualism in the region, the role of Russian in education, science and culture, the use of Russian in official and unofficial correspondence, its role in business and education, a comparison of the styles of written communication in the two countries, an analysis of politeness, formality and other cultural nuances, translation difficulties, adaptation of terminology, the impact of digitalization on intercultural communication. Based on the analysis, the author offers recommendations to improve the effectiveness of intercultural written communication between Uzbekistan and Russia.
