This study examines the role of educational technologies in the development of historical thinking within history education. In contemporary pedagogical discourse, historical thinking is regarded as a complex cognitive and interpretative process that goes beyond the memorization of historical facts, encompassing chronological reasoning, causal analysis, source evaluation, and critical interpretation of historical narratives. The study adopts an interdisciplinary approach, integrating perspectives from pedagogy, cognitive psychology, and digital education. The research analyzes the effectiveness of various educational technologies, including gamification, problem-based learning, and interactive digital tools, in fostering historical thinking among students. The findings suggest that these technologies significantly enhance student engagement, critical thinking, and analytical abilities. The study concludes that the integration of innovative educational technologies is essential for the modernization of history education and the development of historically conscious and critically thinking individuals.
