The article analyzes the legal framework of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of ensuring freedom of conscience and regulating the activities of local authorities in the religious sphere. It examines the changes introduced by the 2023 constitutional reform, as well as the provisions of relevant legislation and strategic documents.
