This article examines the procedural architecture of arbitration-related court proceedings in Uzbekistan across two interrelated dimensions: the duality of procedural codes governing arbitration-related judicial proceedings and the legislative distinction between national and international arbitration. Chapter 29-1 of the CEP establishes a comprehensive procedural regime for court assistance to arbitral proceedings, including the appointment of arbitrators, challenges to arbitrators, interim measures, and setting aside of arbitral awards, whereas the CCP contains no equivalent provisions, creating a significant structural gap that disadvantages individual parties. Simultaneously, Uzbekistan maintains separate legislative regimes for domestic and international arbitration, raising complex classification questions under Article 4 of the Law on International Commercial Arbitration. Through detailed procedural mapping, comparative analysis with unified and dual-track jurisdictions, and examination of edge cases in the application of the internationality criteria, this article identifies the key deficiencies of the current system and proposes specific legislative reforms aimed at harmonizing procedural regulation and ensuring effective court support for all forms of arbitration in Uzbekistan.
