This paper examines banking activity as an object and subject of administrative-legal regulation within the modern legal system. The study analyzes the specific features of the legal nature of banking activity, its public-law character, and its significance in ensuring the economic stability of the state. Particular attention is paid to the content of administrative-legal influence, including the mechanisms of state regulation, supervision, and control over the activities of credit institutions. The subject of administrative-legal regulation is also explored, covering managerial relations arising in the processes of licensing, operation, and holding banks accountable. The study concludes that administrative law plays a key role in ensuring the stability of the banking system and in protecting the interests of the state, society, and participants in the financial market.
