This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the constitutional-legal and institutional mechanisms for combating corruption in the activities of the executive authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Based on the provisions of the new 2023 Constitution, it reveals the substance of the principles of openness, accountability, and integrity of public authority. The study engages in scholarly discussion with the theories of foreign researchers such as R. Klitgaard, S. Rose-Ackerman, M. Johnston, and J. Nye, and critically assesses the limits of their applicability in Uzbekistan’s context. The author proposes a “constitutional-integrative institutional model” for combating corruption.
