This article examines issues related to the circulation of evidence in the form of electronic documents in civil proceedings. It emphasizes that the legislator has not sufficiently expanded electronic (digital) document circulation as an institution of evidence in civil procedure. The study analyzes electronic document exchange carried out through electronic interaction between parties in civil proceedings via the information and telecommunications network “Internet” and the official websites of courts. Particular attention is paid to the criteria used by courts to evaluate electronic evidence, as well as to the problems that arise in the assessment of such evidence in civil proceedings.
