The article presents a comparative legal analysis of foreign experience in organizing prosecutorial supervision over probation services. It examines non-custodial sanctions, their execution, and forms of supervision in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Sweden, and the Netherlands. The paper proposes practical recommendations for developing the probation system in the Republic of Uzbekistan as a humane and effective institution, including strengthening social service functions, legally formalizing rehabilitation programs, gradually involving non-governmental organizations and local communities, introducing the “day-fine” system, and expanding private sector participation in the execution of sentences.
