The article examines the tragic fate of Gaziz Yaushev, a representative of the renowned Yaushev dynasty of Tatar merchants. For the first time, on the basis of primary archival documents, it also analyzes the activities and destinies of Valiev Fayzirahmon Foziljonovich, Rakhmonkulov Abdurakhmon Mukhammadjonovich, and Bakirov Abduvali Abdullaevich, who were repressed under accusations of belonging to the “supporters of Gaziz Yaushev” or of being “agents of German intelligence”.
