In modern linguistics, many studies related to the problems of text linguistics have appeared. These works are directly related to the study of various forms of text, including the linguistic nature of micro- and macrotexts. Such studies include work carried out as part of the study of derivational characteristics of the text. The concept of derivation is primarily associated with the meaning of formation. Of course, microtext derivation is not based on the same principles as macrotext derivation. Macrotext constantly requires the results of syntactic derivation, while microtext can be a product of both semantic derivation and lexical or syntactic derivation. Macrotext includes large speech units such as paragraphs, chapters and entire sections. In addition, large speech units in the form of paragraphs can also function as macrotext. These include chapters, sections, articles, stories, essays, novels, monographs, and various types of literary and scientific texts. All such syntactic integrity is considered macrotext. However, it is indeed difficult to study the derivational characteristics of all types of hierarchically related macrotexts simultaneously. Therefore, this article examines the syntactic derivation of macrotext using the example of a paragraph.
