This article presents theoretical insights into the effective use of modern interactive methods in organizing practical classes in biology and pedagogy at higher education institutions. The essence of project-based learning (PBL) technology, its role in the educational process, and its advantages and disadvantages are discussed on the basis of scientific evidence. In addition, the mutual influence of project-based learning on improving practical lessons in biology and pedagogy is examined from a scientific perspective.
