This article analyzes the role of conflict situations that arise during educational lessons in the formation of communicative skills in students. The concept of pedagogical conflict, its positive and negative aspects, as well as methods for developing a culture of communication through problem situations are discussed. The article shows the possibilities of increasing students' speech activity on the example of interactive approaches based on the principle of “respect for differences of opinion”.
