At the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held a meeting with the Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. The parties discussed key aspects of strengthening practical cooperation regarding Uzbekistan’s accession to the WTO. They expressed satisfaction with the current pace of negotiations with the member countries of this international organization.
