This article examines the field of Sociolinguistics and the methods of sociolinguistic analysis used to study linguistic variation and change in society. It provides an overview of key sociolinguistic concepts and theories, such as language variation, language attitudes, and language ideologies. The article also describes various methods of sociolinguistic analysis, including qualitative and quantitative approaches, the use of linguistic corpora, and sociolinguistic interviews. In addition, the importance of taking into account social factors such as gender, ethnicity, and socio-economic status in sociolinguistic analysis is emphasized. The study's findings demonstrate the complexity of linguistic variation and change and its importance for understanding language use in different social contexts.
