Annotatsiya

This article explores the linguistic features of aphorisms in multi-system languages. Aphorisms are concise statements that convey profound insights in a memorable way. This study examines how aphorisms in English, French, German, Russian, Chinese, and Arabic exhibit unique linguistic characteristics that reflect the cultural and literary traditions of each language. English aphorisms use wordplay and rhetorical devices, while French aphorisms emphasize elegance and sophistication. German aphorisms tend to be philosophical and reflective, Russian aphorisms are pragmatic and direct, Chinese aphorisms convey deep insights through symbolism and paradox, and Arabic aphorisms draw on Islamic literature and wisdom. Understanding these linguistic features can provide insights into how language is used to convey wisdom and moral teachings concisely across diverse cultural contexts.
