This article examines the administration of justice for minors, relevant international standards, and national legislation. In analyzing foreign experience, the author focuses on the causes of juvenile delinquency and on classifying international legal instruments in this field. The study also considers the concept of juvenile crime, mechanisms for administering justice to minors, current challenges, and priority directions for improving juvenile justice. Finally, the author highlights specific features of sentencing minors under the national system and the procedural safeguards that guarantee their rights.
