This article analyzes social design from the perspective of its strategic importance in modern management systems. The author interprets social design as a methodological concept that ensures societal development through addressing social needs, rational distribution of resources, and innovative approaches. The study employs historical-analytical, document analysis, statistical, and content analysis methods to highlight the integration of social design with design principles, management, and civil society. The article also provides a scientific foundation for the cultural basis of social design, the principle of subsidiarity, and mechanisms of social innovation.
