This article examines the role and significance of political institutions, particularly political parties, in the sustainable development of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Political parties serve as an important instrument in strengthening democratic values, ensuring socio-political stability, and effectively organizing state governance. The study analyzes regional characteristics, differences in political systems, as well as the influence of global processes. The conclusion is drawn that the effective functioning of strong political institutions is a guarantee of sustainable development.
