This study analyzes the role and responsibilities of the prosecutor's office in ensuring citizens' right to access qualified medical services. The legal nature of the right to healthcare, enshrined in Article 48 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and its compliance with international standards are examined. The legal content of the concepts of medical aid and medical service is elucidated. The main directions of the prosecutor's office's oversight activities in the healthcare sector are identified. The relevance of safeguarding the right to healthcare in modern conditions is highlighted, including the lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact of technological advancements. Methods to enhance the effectiveness of prosecutorial oversight are proposed, and the necessity for the future development of an independent field of law, such as medical law, is substantiated. In practice, results have been obtained that contribute to improving the mechanisms for protecting citizens' right to medical services.
