In this research, emotional and communicative competence is presented as a personal resource of the future physician. It is manifested in the ability to recognize and regulate one’s own emotions, to understand the emotions of communicators, and to take them into account in building constructive interactions during the treatment process. Within the framework of this study, the main objective of the experimental work was to methodologically improve the development of emotional-communicative competencies of medical university students, test the proposed methods in practice, and determine their effectiveness. In this process, particular emphasis was placed on fostering emotional sensitivity, empathy, communicative culture, and psychological adaptability, which play a crucial role in students’ professional identification and formation as competent medical specialists.
