The article reveals the content of the Water Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan: public relations that this act regulates, the subject and objectives of regulation, the principles of the Code, types of water use, the category of water bodies, accounting and monitoring, international cooperation, liability measures, as well as other aspects. The article also reveals international experience in water legislation.
