This article examines ways to increase the effectiveness of public utilization of open data published by government bodies and organizations through official sources. The article also addresses existing problems and puts forward proposals for their solutions. Open data is considered an important tool for ensuring transparency in society and expanding citizens' participation in state activities. However, to fully and effectively use this data, a number of obstacles need to be overcome. The author of the article focuses on issues such as the formats for presenting open data, accessibility, and the relevance of the information. Additionally, the author provides practical suggestions for encouraging the use of open data and improving literacy in this area. The article is expected to serve in strengthening cooperation between government bodies and civil society.
