This article explores the phenomenon of ticket speculation (scalping) at cultural, sports, and other mass events as a socially dangerous occurrence. The authors analyze legal gaps existing in the legislation of several countries, including Uzbekistan, and provide examples of foreign practices in combating illegal ticket resale. They emphasize the necessity of legal regulation in order to ensure equal public access to cultural goods, prevent social tension, and suppress criminal speculative activities.
