The article provides an analysis of the historical roots of corruption, ancient legal norms, and modern international standards. It examines practices in Ancient Babylon and Greece, as well as in Islamic law, and considers approaches adopted in Europe and the United States. The study explores contemporary anti-corruption measures, transparency, and public oversight implemented through international cooperation and national legislation. The article also highlights Uzbekistan’s experience, linking it to constitutional and legal reforms.
