This article analyzes current trends in the development of music education based on international and national experiences. In particular, it examines innovative approaches to music teaching in the USA, UK, Japan, and Scandinavian countries, including integrated teaching methods and the implementation of digital technologies. It also explores pedagogical approaches in Uzbekistan rooted in national musical heritage. A comparative analysis of global and local practices highlights the importance of integrative, culturally adaptive, and innovative strategies for modernizing music teacher education. The article offers methodological and practical recommendations for enhancing the quality of music education.
