Artificial intelligence (AI) requires a revision of the traditional principles of copyright accepted in creative industries. AI works can be of equal quality to human works, but their legal owner is unclear. The article analyzes the authorship of content created by AI, intellectual property protection and the need for legal reforms. The article reviews world practice and future solutions, and suggests ways to adapt the copyright system to the AI era.
