The article examines the forms and methods of effectively implementing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) education in pedagogical higher education institutions from both scientific-theoretical and practical perspectives. In the modern education system, it is crucial to prepare students for solving real-life problems and to develop their competencies such as creative and critical thinking, technological and scientific literacy. The article analyzes effective experiences of using elements of interdisciplinary integration, project-based learning, design thinking, cooperative collaboration, interactive laboratories, and gamification in the educational process through the STEAM approach. The conclusions and recommendations outline the prospects for developing STEAM methodology in Uzbekistan's higher education system.
