Annotatsiya

This article analyzes foreign research related to the subject of crime within the framework of criminal law. The author examines the main characteristics of the subject of crime — being a physical person, mental sanity, and reaching the legally established age of criminal responsibility. In addition, attention is given to new concepts and emerging issues in criminal law theory. The article discusses various approaches of both foreign and domestic scholars to the notion of the subject of crime, including the issue of criminal liability of legal entities (corporate criminal liability). The author concludes that, rather than introducing criminal liability for legal entities, it would be more appropriate to strengthen civil and administrative measures.
