This thesis explores the pressing issue of patentability of inventions created using artificial intelligence (AI), focusing on authorship and legal protection. It examines international and national legal approaches to recognizing AI as an inventor, including case studies such as DABUS and relevant judicial decisions. Particular attention is paid to the legislation of Uzbekistan and its potential evolution in light of global trends. The author highlights the need to rethink traditional legal concepts in response to technological advancements and proposes regulatory frameworks for patent rights involving AI-generated inventions.
