Over the past five years in our republic the cardinal revision of the mechanisms for the execution of non-custodial sentences and the further expansion of the range of rights of convicts in accordance with generally recognized international standards have been identified as priority areas for further improvement of the regulatory and legal framework in the field of enforcement of criminal penalties.
