This article discusses the need for prosecutors, their participation in solving crimes, their role in organizing criminal investigations, the quality of the investigation and, thereby, the effectiveness of protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens. The article presents the practice of introducing the position of a forensic prosecutor, recommendations and proposals for the further development of this area.
