This article examines the scientific-theoretical and practical foundations of implementing evidence-based medicine principles in teaching pediatrics. It was found that this approach plays a key role in transforming students’ theoretical knowledge into practical skills, fostering independent thinking, and developing responsible clinical decision-making. The effectiveness of innovative technologies and simulation-based training in enhancing educational outcomes was assessed. The integration of scientific literature and clinical guidelines into the learning process was described as providing students with the opportunity to deeply acquire up-to-date medical knowledge. It was concluded that the broad application of the evidence-based approach strengthens scientific dialogue between instructors and students and contributes to the continuous improvement of the educational process.
