This article highlights the potential of artificial intelligence technologies in the process of criminal investigation, such as crime analysis, evidence sorting, and information processing. It also explores the prospects of establishing a precise, efficient, and objective investigation process through the collaboration between investigators and artificial intelligence. The investigative system of Uzbekistan has a solid legal foundation; however, in practice, a number of issues indicate the necessity of implementing information technologies, including artificial intelligence, in this field.
