This article analyzes the educational system of madrasas in the Bukhara Emirate, highlighting its main achievements and shortcomings. The role of madrasas in teaching both religious and secular sciences, their influence on socio-cultural life, and their contribution to the formation of the scientific environment are examined in detail. The article also addresses problems in the educational system, including the inadequacy of curricula, insufficient attention to applied sciences, and factors impeding scientific progress. Based on historical sources and research, this study helps assess the position of Bukhara madrasas in the educational landscape of their time.
