This article provides an extensive analysis of the history, essence, and various forms of terrorism, presenting diverse perspectives on the origins, causes, and historical development of terrorism. It clearly indicates that new forms of modern terrorism, such as cyberterrorism and biological terrorism, pose a threat to global security. The importance of developing global and local strategies necessary to combat terrorism is also emphasized. The conducted research demonstrates that terrorism is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon.
