This article examines and analyzes the current state of legal support for the development of the information society in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It explores the alignment of national legislation with the requirements of the modern global information society. The study substantiates the necessity of adapting Uzbekistan’s legal framework to international standards and provides recommendations for its improvement.
