This article analyzes the criteria for assessing the effectiveness of STEAMeducation based on digital competencies. The widespread integration of digital technologies intothe modern educational process expands the potential of the STEAM approach and contributes tothe development of students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, anddigital literacy skills. The study highlights the importance of such criteria for evaluating theeffectiveness of STEAM education as the level of digital competencies, learning activityengagement, innovative thinking, outcomes of practical projects, and reflective practice.Keywords: digital competence, STEAM education, educational effectiveness, assessmentcriteria, critical thinking, creative thinking, digital technologies, innovative education, projectbased learning, digital literacy, learning outcomes, competency-based approach.
