This article examines the pedagogical conditions for improving the methodologyof teaching technical elements of field hockey to students of higher education institutions. Specialattention is given to the step-by-step development of technical skills, individualized instruction, theuse of game-like training exercises, and modern pedagogical technologies. During the study, asystem of exercises aimed at developing students’ technical preparedness was developed andexperimentally tested. The results of the pedagogical experiment confirmed the effectiveness of theproposed methodology, demonstrating significant improvement in the technical performance ofthe experimental group students.
